Community Safety Notice – Abbots Langley

Dear Resident

I am writing to inform residents that we have seen an increase in reports of youths riding mopeds in and around Abbots Langley, Leavesden and Bedmond, which is understandably causing concern within the community.

As your local Neighbourhood Policing Team, we have reviewed our patrol plans and adjusted our shift patterns to ensure a more targeted and visible presence. We are actively focusing our efforts on identifying those responsible and taking robust enforcement action where appropriate.

However, we cannot be everywhere at all times, and we are therefore asking for your support in helping us address this issue. It is likely that someone within the community has information regarding those involved or where they are coming from. Please reply to this message with any information you may have, no matter how small it may seem, as it could prove vital to our enquiries.

I would also encourage residents to share this message via social media platforms, including Facebook, to help us reach as many people as possible.
